Many ticketholders expressed their frustrations on social media, but others also offered their understanding for the organizers’ decision to cancel at the last minute. Bonnaroo Presents announced a ticketed show on Saturday (9/4) with Phoebe Bridgers, Brittany Howard, and Sylvan Esso for anyone, especially expected attendees who already travelled to Tennessee for the festival. Additional alternative events popped up during the weekend, including the 2,000 person The Other Fest. There have been more recent changes with artist booking contracts in terms of cancellation repercussions.
