Streaming services are back on the rise. We see various vaccination regulations amongst live events, and StubHub is being held accountable for refunds after a policy change at the pandemic's beginning. 

Credit: Celebrity Access4 Million New UsersBandsintown reports 4 million new users over the past three months. The organic growth is showing the desire for live music amongst fans. 

ACL's Newest Regulation ACL announced that a negative COVID test will need to be presented by vaccinated and unvaccinated ticket holders. Negative test results must be within 72 hours of the event.

New Contactless Method at Red RocksCould the future of event security be in the palm of your hand? Amazon works with Red Rocks to implement a new contactless method, palm reading.  

NFL COVID ProtocolNFL vaccination requirements currently vary from state to state. Of the teams, the following have protocol around the vaccine: Buffalo Bills require proof of vaccination, Seattle Seahawks require proof of vaccination or negative test, New Orleans Saints require proof of the first dose of the vaccine, and Las Vegas Raiders require fans to be vaccinated, however, they do not need to wear a mask. 

White House PleadsThe White House asks for the support of live event producers to implement COVID safety regulations when holding events. 

A New Reopening 🎉After over one year, the Capitol Theatre reopens. With the re-opening comes renovations and improvements that were made during their COVID-related shutdown.

Protocol AbroadStarting October 11th, Wales music fans will need to present proof of double vaccination or negative test results, a plan they are calling the COVID Pass Scheme. This will apply to both indoor and outdoor music and sports events as well as clubs.  

Free Tickets for all of 2022Australian promoters are running a giveaway where a lucky vaccinated fan can win tickets to every stadium concert in 2022.  

Firefly's Live Stream PartnershipMandolin is named the official partner and will hold the exclusive right to stream Firefly Music Festival. This service will be free of charge to fans.

StubHub is Held Accountable for RefundsStubHub will be held accountable for refunding fans up to 16 million dollars in compliance with their original cancellation policy. Fans who purchased tickets before March of 2020 could be eligible for a full refund.

 Ticketing Coordinator - Live Nation (Beverly Hills): This full-time role requires the new hire to demonstrate the ability to monitor sales and build out order systems. Occasionally responsible to report on-site for local events. Director Finance - AEG Worldwide, Los Angeles: Join the team as the main finance lead for the respective area of operation. This role is involved in annual budgeting and reporting.

Matthew Gleason February 26, 1980-September 15, 2021

On September 15th, our industry suffered a huge loss with the passing of Matthew Gleason. Matt has played a huge role in the transportation of hundreds of thousands of attendees to North America’s premier festivals and events. For 15+ years Matt has poured countless hours into keeping people safe and making sure they have fun. Matt’s incredible work ethic is only outshined by his larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. Matt played the role of leader, mentor, and most loving friend to so many of us. If you’ve been lucky enough to meet Matt you’ve seen the way he could light up a room, make sure everyone is comfortable, and truly enjoy life to its fullest. We love you, Gleason, the industry has lost a true legend.

A go fund me has been created to help with the costs of this tragedy, any help is greatly appreciated.
