CAA Top Agency Creative Artists Agency is set to acquire ICM Partners. This partnership puts CAA as one of the top agencies in the sports and entertainment sector. 

Stock Rises Thanks to Alternative SourcesWarner Music Group’s stock rises almost 10%, with a significant revenue stream coming from alternative sources like Tiktok. It is reported that these branches of the company contribute up to $270 million. 

New Golden Voice FestivalDesert Air is Goldenvoice’s newest festival to hit Palm Springs. Dates are set for December 10th and 11th.

German Ticketing Company Heads to North AmericaCTS Eventim is entering North America. The German ticketing company officially began sales in the market on September 26th.   

Series C Funding for Ticketing CompanyDice raised $122 million in Series C funding. This up-and-coming ticketing platform is popular in the UK. 

Artists Better ProtectedElectric Group has acquired a historic venue, formerly known as O 2 Academy Newcastle. They have announced plans to refurbish this property to the tune of £1.5 million. The property is now called NX. 

Blockchain in FranceProducers plan to use blockchain technology during Ed Sheeran’s tour leg in France next year in an attempt to prevent ticket scalping. 

Canceled by BrexitTwo British acts, Squid and Black Country, New Road, had to cancel tour dates in Spain due to issues with visas regulated by Brexit.

This Just In...Well, this certainly caught our attention: Red Hot Chili Peppers announce their tour via a comedic newscast.   

 Brilliant Corners Artist Management is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Coordinator / Executive Assistant. The position is in their San Francisco office, but some responsibilities can be performed remotely for the time being.

 Join the SXSW team from November - March as a production coordinator to advance the logistics of various production elements and events.

 Involved Group is looking for their new head of apparel and merchandise. This position has the opportunity to be based out of London or LA. 

 C3 is responsible for events like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. There is a current opening to join the team as a senior festival ticketing manager.

 Tool announces their tour for the first half of 2022, made up of 54 concerts in both the US and UK.

This festival didn’t start out well with rainy conditions that led to damp venue grounds which ended up delaying the party for early campers and left event professionals working in overdrive. In addition, there was a report of nine injured after a shuttle was overturned. However, things turned around with a memorable first for the fest: Shaq went crowd surfing. Yes, all 325 pounds of him.
