First Quarter ComebackEventbrite is making a comeback after the major loss it experienced in 2020. The company has reported revenue of $55.9 million during the first quarter of 2022.

TM in Africa Ticketmaster is on the move, making its grand entrance into the South African market. The decision was made after successful sales in both music and sports, specifically Justin Bieber’s world tour and the Rugby World Cup.

$25 TicketsTomorrow marks the first day of Concert Week, where Live Nation is offering $25 all-in tickets to over 3,700 shows. The promotion will run through May 10th.

Milestone Full SeasonAnother major re-opening milestone is announced as Carnegie Hall releases a full season that includes 150 shows kicking off this fall.

Benefit for Ukraine$100,000 was raised during a benefit performance by Foreigner. The famous rock band joined forces with American Red Cross to bring relief efforts to Ukraine.

This weekend marked the first couple of days of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. There were a lot of great tributes throughout the weekend to jazz fest and NOLA legends, including jazz fest founder George Wein, music icon Dr. John, and educator Ellis Marsalis. A festival highlight included Red Hot Chili Peppers paying tribute to Taylor Hawkins. The band replaced Foo Fighters in the festival lineup after the tragic death of a beloved drummer.
