Call OutNew Jersey Congressman Bill Pascrell has called out Live Nation’s safety record in light of recent events. With the industry giant’s significant market share, Pascrell raises charges to hold LN accountable for safety precautions.

Live Stream PromoterMandolin created a venue and promoter network that gives users access to a list of partnering venues. Essentially, the intent is to take the guesswork out of live streaming, leaving it to Mandolin to produce, which allows promoters more time to focus on their main events.  

Squad UpLN Middle East is partnering with Emirates Nature in their latest do-good initiative. The duo will focus on the sustainability of events at large. This effort will by no means be compromising on style, as Maroon 5 will be rolling up in a squad of electric Porsches.

100% Plant-Based FestApenkooi Events and Beyond Meat will be collaborating to create plant-based menus. This Netherlands production company aims to create a world with “zero-emission dance festivals.”

Festival Powers 10,000 HomesAdditionally, The Netherlands will host the Lowlands Festival, which now features the largest solar car park in the world. How big? Essentially, large enough to power up to 10,000 homes.

Roblox Artist Engagement Spotify Island is the latest Roblox drop and Spotify’s entry into the Metaverse, allowing players to engage with artists in yet another way. Spotify says it is “creating an easy opportunity for artists to connect with fans and to partner with Spotify on the creation of in-game virtual merchandise”.

Tragic Cancellation The first day of the Mississippi Mudbug Festival was cancelled after gunfire was reported on festival grounds. One attendee was killed and a few others were reportedly injured.

Drake X UMGDrake just made a major deal with Universal Music Group. The artist is locked into an agreement that covers multiple projects from merchandise to records.

Newest Boston VenueMGM Music Hall at Fenway will be opened by the musical act Bruno Mars. The 5,000-seat Boston, MA venue is set to open this September.

Sun Soaked has just been announced as the latest Cancun destination festival experience. Kaskade will be curating the experience, aiming to make it one-of-a-kind.

Hard Summer 2022 announced their lineup, featuring Alison Wonderland, GRiZ, and Megan Thee Stallion. This year the festival will take place across three days. 

Born & Raised Music Festival 2022, hosted by Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds, will feature artists Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brothers Osborne, and more. This festival is produced by AEG.

Danny Wimmer Presents goes country with GoldenSky Music Festival in Sacramento, CA. The debut festival will take place October 15-16 this year with headliners Tim McGraw and Sam Hunt.
