While festival season can be fantastic, it can also mean struggling to create balanced routines or maintain the healthy rituals at home that make you feel your best. Our friends at Optimized Touring have 5 Health Tips After Festival Season to help you jump back into a realistic health routine.

#1) Own Your Morning Routine: You could say the way you start your day is the way you will feel today. Even 10 minutes of grounding yourself and easing into the day will make a difference. Reading, journaling, meditation, a walk or workout are all great options.

#2) Cook the Majority of Your Meals: When you cook, you'd never throw in the hidden ingredients, added sugars, or gallons of salt and butter, you'd find at a restaurant. Making simple, healthy meals is the most immediate way to feel better. Bonus points if half your plate is veggies.

#3) Find Your Accountability Partner: This will help you stay consistent while adding a fun social element. This is often a key to sustainable health routines!

#4) Create Your Workout Routine: Don't jump into daily crushing workouts that leave you depleted! Identify what you enjoy (sports, weights, yoga, running, etc.) and make that the foundation of your routine. This will help with consistency, and then throw in occasional new and challenging workouts to push yourself and mix things up.

#5) Establish a Consistent Sleep Schedule: Proper sleep is the foundation of everything you do. Every piece of your life becomes easier when you are well-rested. Don't ignore it!
