Live Nation Cancels Bruno Mars Tickets

Live Nation canceled tickets for Bruno Mars’ first concert in Korea since 2014 after finding them illegally posted for sale on reseller sites. While just 60 tickets were canceled, Live Nation Asia banned the sale of tickets on unauthorized sites completely, so once they were discovered, the tickets were immediately canceled. Mars is scheduled to perform at Jamsil Main Olympic Stadium in Seoul on June 17 and 18.

Bad BloodConveniently placed during the performance of the song “Bad Blood,” Taylor Swift calls out security during her Philidelphia show. While the exact actions of the security team are unclear, Swifties are backing Taylor in her decision to advocate for her fans.

Lackluster FansThroughout an artist's career, they will experience plenty of crowds, and in the case of Lil Wayne’s most recent crowds, ‘bad’ ones. After fans were ‘disrespectful’ to opening acts, Lil Wayne cut the last show of his tour early. Now that's a way to prove your point. No refunds are currently in discussion, as Lil Wayne performed a shortened set before ending the show altogether.

Dead & Company at Cornell University’s Barton Hall

After 46 Years, Dead and Company perform at Barton Hall in benefit of Cornell’s The 2030 Project and MusiCares. Bill Sherman paints the original performance like this “The memory I think all of us have is, it was 60 degrees and sunny before we went into the show. Everybody was playing Frisbee in shorts and T-shirts. We came out four hours later, six inches of snow. You never saw so many people going, ‘Woah, how long were we in there?’” The 1977 show is one of the top performances the group has had and makes it a must-stop venue on their farewell tour. The show was intimate, with a crowd of about 5,000 people. This was quite the treat for avid fans. While tickets ranged from $500 - 1500, Cornell students experienced the event for only $77.
